The next Assassin’s Creed is reportedly set in ancient Greece and it’s titled “Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey”, contrary to what was previously reported as “Dynasty”, according to a rumor shared on 4Chan, and it’s set to be officially announced at E3, after being recognized in an investment meeting in two weeks, and is expected to be released in March of 2019.

The game is expected to bring back Naval combat and exploration along with ship customization along with character customizations similar to Assassin’s Creed: Unity, allowing players to play as a male or a female protagonist, and characters will have different but interweaving stories, different skill trees and customization for each character, fighting greek mythological creatures like cerberus (probably in a similar way to Assassin’s Creed Origins). Templars will be using the same Apple of Eden from Curse of the Pharaohs. The world of the game will be just a bit smaller than Origins, with the water, the dialogue options were being considered but were eventually cut. The game is also reportedly set in Roman Greece after Assassin’s Creed Origins.

So far, none of the information above were ever officially confirmed nor backed up by any leaked authentic imagery from the product, by any means, so this remains an unconfirmed rumor and some or all of the information above may or may not be true or may represent ideas that may not make it to the final product. Stay tuned for more updates!
