A series of art books that were released alongside each main Assassin’s Creed installment, starting from the first game. The books showcase a selection of concept arts, sketches, renders and artworks from the game it ties in with.

Some of the books often showcase artworks of segments that did not make it to the final cut of the game, such as an early concept of an outfit, an early character design, a certain locations or an object.

Books that showcase the artworks of the games from Assassin’s Creed (2007) to Assassin’s Creed: Revelations were often sold within the Collector’s Edition packages of the games, some were large books and others were small booklets.

However, since Assassin’s Creed III, The Art of Assassin’s Creed books were being published by Titan Books, and come in both standard and limited editions, the latter featuring an exclusive packaging/slipcase featuring a different cover artwork and printed lithographs autographed by their respective artists. On the other hand, Collector’s Editions of these games still include small booklets that feature samples from the artworks shown in the games and The Art of Assassin’s Creed books.
