EDIT (OCTOBER 26th):

The wait is almost over and only one day is left and I’m happy to unveil something that all Assassin’s Creed fans have been wondering about for a long time now. Assassin’s Creed Origins answers all the pleas of the fans for a 3rd person playable modern day introducing our new protagonist, Layla Hassan. She’s an Egyptian girl living in the US and is now back to Egypt to in an attempt to earn the approval of Sofia Rikkin to work for Abstergo. She brings her portable Animus, a product of her own creation and she uses DNA from the mummies of Bayek and Aya in the cave where she set up camp to relive the Ptolemaic Egypt and explore controlling both characters. The story focuses mainly on Bayek but players are able to control Aya in specific missions for traditional assassin gameplay and naval combat. Take a look:

Assassin’s Creed Origins answers the calls and pleas for fans of the lore and it’s a brand new start for the franchise that revamps the gameplay in a new template yet keeps the story going in its original canon. Read the full review here.
