Of course, the Discovery Tour is a exploration-only, combat-free mode meant for exploring ancient Egypt, not present day so the figure could be a representation of the player going into that world, rather than an actual modern day protagonist. On the other hand, the gear that the figure is wearing resembles that of modern day Assassins like Desmond.
