In an official fan kit by Ubisoft for Assassin’s Creed: Origins, a detailed cosplay guide is enclosed featuring full model turnarounds and close ups for our new hero, Bayek of Siwa. Take a look at the creative brilliance behind the character’s design and the mixture of ancient Egyptian culture and the Assassin style, which would later grow to inspire generations of Assassins both in terms of the hood and the insignia itself which is based on the eagle skull necklace which Bayek wears, which if viewed from a certain perspective, would greatly resemble the famous Assassin Insignia. The cosplay guide also shows us the very first iteration of the hidden blade and according to the game’s director, Ashraf Ismail, Origins will show us how the hidden blade was conceptualized and created and used as the signature weapon for the Assassin’s Creed.
