Another Evidence of the Present Day Segment

In an unboxing video for the Dawn of the Creed Collector’s Case released by Ubisoft Germany, the art book is shown and briefly explored, when pausing fast on footage, a concept art with the text “Present Day” can be detected where one can clearly see a truck driving through a desert. First, the text alone is concrete proof that a present day segment is indeed part of Assassin’s Creed Origins, and while this isn’t the first time we see evidence of it, as an image of an Abstergo soldier’s concept art was uncovered few weeks back also from the art book on display at Gamescom, this is another shot to confirm both the existence of present day and that it’ll somehow be mobile since there’s a truck shown which likely means that we will see the Assassins in motion, rather than just in brief cutscenes and the fact that there’s a desert in the background means that the modern day segment could also be set in Egypt.

So far, there hasn’t been any official reveal or talk regarding what the present day segment might be, yet according to the scarce info that The Codex and other eagle-eyed members of the community have discovered, Origins might be a step in the right direction shedding more light on present day than its predecessors.

Stay tuned for more!
