Ubisoft has just unveiled the content of the Season Pass/Gold Edition of Assassin’s Creed Origins, along with other free DLC that are coming in the near future.

Season Pass (Paid content):

  1. The Hidden Ones: Years after the events of Assassin’s Creed Origins story, Bayek will travel to the Sinai peninsula where there will be a clash between rebel factions and an occupying Roman force. This story will expand Bayek’s role and it’s a next step in the Brotherhood’s story. Arriving in January 2018.
  2. The Curse of the Pharaohs: This expansion follows Bayek as he investigates a mystery that turns into a living nightmare. Delving deep into Egyptian mythology as players will be able to fight legendary beasts and dead pharaohs and discover a large new open world region all while Bayek’s world is turned upside down. Arriving in March 2018.

In addition to the story DLC, season pass owners will have access to the Roman Centurion and the Horus bundles. Both will include new outfits, mounts and unique weapons and will be arriving in November and 500 Helix Credits and an exclusive rare weapon, the Calamity Blade – Both available at launch.  Additionally, Lead Director, Ashraf Ismail announced that there will be new content for all players after the release of the game.

Free Content:

  1. The Trials of the Gods: giving players the chance to participate in an epic challenge of the gods which will take place due to a glitch in the Animus, allowing players to fight the famous and mighty gods of Egypt as well as honing their skills and leveling up.
  2. The Nomad’s Bazar: a new character named Redha who is a traveling will tell Bayek to explore the lands and solve his mysteries and problems in order to win specific rewards and will serve as a form of new daily challenges.
  3. Photo Mode: allowing players to take photos of their journey in ancient Egypt and will be automatically shared with the community and appear on the map.
  4. Horde Mode: specific for the arena battles
  5. Discovery Tour by Assassin’s Creed – Ancient Egypt: a purely exploratory no-combat mode that will allow players to explore the world of Assassin’s Creed Origins and learn about the details of the locations, practices, cultures and the overall world of Ancient Egypt.
