The 2nd trailer of Assassin’s Creed Movie was screened in a raw version of it during Kino Expo, in Russia, between September 20th and 23rd. It was screened at the end of the 20th Century Fox conference held at the expo.
The following was reported to have been seen in the trailer (beware of potential spoilers):
1. The trailer was a work-in-progress and it shed light on the backstory of multiple characters, such as Marion Cotillard’s Sofia Rikkin and the Animus itself.
2. Jeremy Irons and Gleeson appeared in a few scenes.
3. About half the trailer is set at Abstergo Industries, perhaps more than that.
4. Callum Lynch’s father killed his mother, causing a serious psychological trauma to Cal, as a kid. Later, Cal kills a man at a bar, as an adult and is sentenced to death by lethal injection, and saved by Abstergo where Sofia Rikkin assures him that there’s a new life ahead of him, reliving the genetic memories of his ancestors and finding his true purpose.
It must be noted that the the story above was exactly shown during the first 20 minutes of Assassin’s Creed movie which was screen to select members, few months back.
